My name is Ellery Leung, an “accidental” marketing consultant.
In year 2009, I was being fired “again” because my company was downsizing, and unfortunately, I am one of them.

So I spend more than USD$10,000, pay a lot of effort on learning and doing marketing, especially Internet marketing. I have a lot of experience on :

Sometimes I fail, and sometimes I get result from my marketing effort. For example, one of my website (www.HowToMakeMoneyBy.com), which is setup a year ago, has already generated more than 700 leads for me. But the key is: I did not do anything to promote that website. And I have more than 10 wordpress websites that generate from $10 – $50 affiliate income for me every month, again, without me doing anything to promote them.
And I suddenly realized that these marketing skills can help a lot of business
So I applied those skills I learned to the company that I am now working on. Recently they are revamping their website and want it to attract more customers. So I told them how to do SEO on the website so that search engine can find them, how to get links from other website so that they can rank themselves high on particular keyword, and give suggestion on how to get keywords so that they can drive traffic through PPC without costing their fortune.
I also tell them to create a free report and collect name and email address from their visitors. Then later on they can do follow-up to those people, and sell them something.
Well, unfortunately they only applied some of my suggestions, and here are some of the results they got:
- Their traffic volume is double (almost trible)
- They have Google #1 ranking on some highly competitive keywords
- Everyday they got 2 – 3 opt-in for their free report

- Create a Facebook fan page for you or redesign one, and connect it to your twitter and linkedin account so that, when you have an update/a promotion/a sale, you can instantly notify your facebook fans, twitter follower, and linkedin connection at the same time.
